Resident Wellness Week 2026 set for Feb. 9-13

We are happy to announce that our annual Resident Wellness Week will take place from Feb. 9 -13. During this week Maritime Resident Doctors will be celebrating residents and recognizing the magnitude of their efforts. In addition to some great initiatives, we will also be giving away a number of prizes focused on their mental and physical well-being.
 
This year, we'll continue to focus on an appreciation of all that residents do, while helping enable them to take care of themselves. Some examples include:

• Free coffee at the three Halifax hospital sites
• Daily emails with lots of great wellness information
• Daily wellness prizes
• Daily Program Pizza Party contests
• Fitness offerings with prize draws to those in attendance
• Social events for our residents

We would also like to encourage you to take this opportunity to do something for the residents on your team. Whether it is something small, like providing snacks or public recognition during the week, or something larger like a catered lunch, it’s time to celebrate your residents and show your appreciation for the hard work they do each and every day. Even small gestures can have a large impact.
