Moonlighting

Since 1997, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) has encouraged Dalhousie University post-graduate trainees, during their residency training, to provide locum tenens in areas of physician shortage in their province; and to assist post-graduate trainees in their career advancement. Effective October 14, 2005, the College amended its policy to include post-graduate trainees in other training facilities (medical schools) in Canada.

Below is a link to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia's website. You will be able to access the Internal and External Moonlighting applications. If you are unable to access or print the application package, you can pick one up at the CPSNS office or have one mailed to you. Please contact the College's Registration Department.
